Web Hosting:  

Wordpress Mage and the Plugins can be installed on almost any webhost.     However if you want to install CPmage, which automates the site creation process, we will require a host with cPanel Standard x2 or x3 Themes.   There are many inexpensive shared hosts.   These are some of our "Recommended providers"  that we know everything will work properly out of the gates.  We recommend you try them

Reseller Hosting

HostGator - Their reseller accounts seem to work great with the Mage. Please make sure you understand your way around a cPanel and are one step above the newbie level before you get a reseller account or you will get confused

Dedicated Servers

Liquid Web.    Hands down the best we have found.   We are happy customers of them for years and their support is instant and top notch. These servers are Tuned and optimized for MAGE performance    


Research and other Keyword Tools.
  While we give you a pretty robust solution with the full Mage Package, here are a few other resources that we find useful.

Terapeak:   Terapeak is eBays own inhouse research service in which you can gain insight into item selling points and such.     You can be clever and use this to select hot niches for your Mage sites.

Trellian - Keyword Discovery -   We sometime use this for the shopping search function as it shows what people are actually searching for on eBay, so you can replicate it in your Mage Sites

Keyword Elite 2.0 -  Free 14 Day Trial and also gets you into KE University and there are some videos Greg did of cross Integration between the Mage and KE2.0

Other Free Resources

Statcounter.    We did not include it in default Mage installs, because it sometimes requires a bit of manual configuration.   However we found it is a very nice way to track all of the visitors across all sites.   Best of All, its free.

Textpad -  Better than Windows notepad.     (hint it wont corrupt your files)

Firefox Browser - If you some reason you still use Internet Explorer,  then just trust us on this one and start using Firefox.   Much faster and more importantly,  much more secure.
